seems like everytime i'm drunk, i end up making out with a guy. Ok that might be an exageration...but i just do some dumb things when i'm drunk. I am also 29! I was married at 23, divorced at 24....i've had a number of relationships since then, but this seems to be a habit i cant kick. I went out with my brother and his friends the other night...made out with my brother's 23 year old friend. It's just embaressing. i have no control. He hit on me first...but had i been sober i wouldnt do that. About 2 months ago, i had sex with someone who i never would have hooked up with had i been sober. I dont get it! I guess the obvious answer is dont get drunk...but i seem to do crazier things than most people do when i'm drunk.

'Anything you would do drunk you would do sober. Alcohol lower inhibitions... that is all.'
Exactly. I hate when people say, oh if you did that drunk, you'd do it sober. Ok, but when i am sober, I do NOT do crazy things..only when i do get drunk do i do crazy things. People say alcohol isnt an excuse, it's not an excuse maybe, but it does seem to be a reason for doing things you would not do sober.

Sounds like a lady friend of mine. I really think that she is allergic to alcohol because she seems to "blackout" and is just "wild" when she drinks. To much of our culture involves social drinking. Only you can decide what to do and what not to do. Make the right choice.

First of all, women are not dogs. Some can be just as well as some men. I think that you do make bad decisions when you are drunk but that doesnt make you a slut by any means. You do need to find your limit. And you should talk to some friends and ask them to look out for you. Althou nobody wants to babysit when your partying and if your drunk your not going to listen to them. Watch out who you party with so they dont take advantage of you. Maybe cool it with the drinking for a while? Seems like your just trying to have fun, but be careful! Good luck.

I totally understand! There is a fine line between drunk and buzzed. It is time that you take responisbility for your self and your actions by not putting yourself in these situations in the first place. It is pretty simple you just have to watch it when you go out. Pace yourself when drinking. You have to make sure you don't get "drunk". Once you feel that Buzz you have to start drinking water.

well some just cant handle their drinking and some drink so they want be so shy..when we drink everyone a some point does things they normally wouldn't do....but you really need to learn to have fun and go out and not drink...you can be a very happy person and have a good time just don't drink...but sounds like you need the drinks so you can loosen up and do things you want to but wouldn't do if sober...they are in you but you don't let them out unless you are drinking.....so have the same fun just don't drink and then you can know where to draw the line.

here is tip.
its a guy secret.
alcohol causes you to do things you wouldnt do when you are sober. we guys get women drunk so we can take advantage of them. even a few drinks will loosen them up.
now that you know what every other girl over the age of 13 knows, dont get drunk with people you dont trust.
and get a new brother, he should have protected you.

I think if you have to ask the question then you know the real answer.
People react differently to alcohol. Some, like you get hit harder by it and do crazier stuff.
If you don't like your drunken behavior then stop drinking.

You answered it yourself. If you're worried about how you act when you have a lot to drink, you need to limit your alcohol intake. If you can't control how much you drink when you start, you should find help to control yourself. Or, you should assign a friend to keep an eye on you and be the one getting you drinks. They have to know, even if you're screaming at them, they need to cut you off. That'll help.
Good luck.

Simple answer-- don't drink--
Don't go places where people drink.
tell your brother you have quit, you expect him to help...
At 29 you should have more self control.
