also, scheduling your eating sometimes helps. Plan to eat something at 9:30 am for breakfast, then allow yourself to have a light snack at 11:30 then eat lunch 1:30-2 and space out your meals like that. Gte in your head that this is the only thing you're eating and after a couple days of that, you'll get into a routine. Drink plenty of water and always have a supply of almonds, peanuts or any type of little snacks to combat the hungry feeling.

Eat celery or other foods which take more energy to eat than they give back to the body. If you're at the computer or in front of the tv, eating, try drinking water - lots of water. Use your hands to do something else, painting, knitting, sewing, car repair, carpentry, etc.

It's not easy. Prepare no more than 1 serving. Keep "junk food" out of the house...drink a glass of water when you are tempted (it'll give you a "full" feeling for a while).

Beyond that, I just use a whole lot of willpower. My desire to lose the weight and fit into my cute clothes again, is higher than my desire for that .

Lock away the kitchen and sit in a position in wich you cant eat much and just forget about it and do other stuff

Whenever you get a craving for something sweet, replace it with fruits.Or try something salty like pretzels.Don't deprive yourself though, when you succeed reward yourself with a trat.
