the brain is like a super computer, it never ever forgets anything. What you need to do is unload the emotions you have associated with that memory, in other words, get over it, life happens, some things good some not so good.. so even if you vomited in school, what is going to happen? the world will come to an end? the building will burn down? you will die? of course not, the janitor will come clean up the mess if you don't make it to a bathroom and life goes on. Don't even think about trying to forget it, you can't. But you can deal with the obsession you seem to have over how you felt about it by following the logic thru the occurence. No, it isn't fun, but honestly it's not that big a deal and you need to just realize that.

You may have developed a phobia about being sick. I read about it once. The fear of being sick rules your life. It's like when people are afraid of social situations, spiders and anything else that it's possible to be afraid of. So from what I can see this is effecting you therefore it something which needs sorting before it becomes a real problem.

The fact that you no longer take the thing that caused you to be sick is irrelevant. I think it was a form of therapy that was a treatment for it. If you feel you need help, to help you get over this, as it is not going to go away then please seek any help you can find and feel happy trying. Don't let anyone tell you are being silly. It's not us living with it, you are! Good luck!

You already know why you vomited....from the advil. You do not have to be afraid again that this will happen as you are not going to take advil again. Stop thinking and dwelling on it or you will make yourself sick. Go forwards and have a good year at school.
