Its a good question... and a similar one challenged me once. Person asked me how can you just sit there and carry on with your life if people out there are dying and going to go to hell!? There is only so much I can do in life... I believe that God will take care of the rest.
Coming back to your question... its a good challenge and some people recognize this and do not have kids! I'm scared to have kids! But at the end of the day its all in Gods plan.
We do not know what hell is like or heaven... I appreciate your caring for that one who may go... just know where u r going!

I have no control over anyone's belief. All I can do is teach and exhort. It's their decision just as it was mine alone.
I consider myself ahead of the game in that 4 out of 5 at least accept who God is and that Jesus is salvation. Four of the five married Godly people. One is still lost and the crack queen owns him.
I grieve but he is grown and I don't try to make him do his duty. I'm not convinced he is doomed to hell yet. There is still time and he at least has been taught the bible and has been baptized.
What about you? Why do you stay on the hard path when Jesus is waiting to help you carry the load? Or you too intelligent? He said that would happen. Woe be unto the scribe.
You remind me of an old song for atheist.
I know the ain't no heaven, but I pray there ain't no hell.

I believe in reincarnation, so even if I choose not to have a child, that soul will find another body.
My religion teaches of a far different kind of hell than most think of when they hear the word "hell". This is my belief: When we cross over, we must watch and feel our entire time here on earth. We feel the pain we caused others, and the pain that created for those who love that person in pain, and so on like ripples in water. Think of Hitler, of mass murderers, mass rapists...etc. ..all that pain. Can you really think of a worse hell? When I think of whatever pain I've caused, it scares me. It's not just pointless pain for all eternity. When the time is right, we can be reincarnated if we choose to learn more quickly. This hell teaches us how our actions affect others. There's no better way to teach us how evil we can be, no matter how good our intentions are. Now there's a Hell worthy of a loving Mother/Father God.
Blessed Be

How could God create us with out giving us a chance at being good or bad, he made hell and heaven....[i think] i know that he believed in it. A new born child or a child is most likely innocent--so there is a big chance they still have a chance, but us as adult are a we bit more influenced my temptation. Yes some may go to hell and some may not, but you shouldn't worry because if you raise them up believing in the lord and ask for his forgiveness every-time they do wrong...Alot of people don't know this but when God created us...yes he created us individually unique and with our own minds...meaning we think for our self's. He did this because he wants to see who will stray from him...and who wont.

It is impossible to say that some of my children will definitely go to hell. It has nothing to do with my belief in it really. I believe in generational blessings. Scripture states that if even one person in a family follows God that God will deal with the rest of the family with patience and kindness for generations upon generations afterwards. I know that God will take care of my children and my children's children and my children's children's children and so on.
I would be more concerned with the one person that does NOT believe in God and chooses to have children.

Well, the Pope now says that babies who die go to heaven, so the best way to send a lot of souls to heaven is to get pregnant often and abort each one.
CJ - My parents were both devout, sent me to a Christian school, took me to church on Sunday and prayer meetings on Wednesday. I was an atheist by the time I was a teen (though I never told them).
There's a very good chance that one of your children will end up non-religious, agnostic, or atheist; and if not, then almost definitely one or more of your grandchildren.

We teach our children our faith, and we pray for our children and our children's children to the 7th generation.
Point to consider: Jesus was called the Bright and Morning Star. Satan was called the Son of the Morning Star.
So, yes, it is true that someone down the line of our descendants will go to hell, and it is also true the Man of Sorrow and Acquainted with Grief already knows what that suffering is like.

Personally I don't believe in either heaven or hell, or even god. But according to the catholic religion and the rapture, you will have nothing to worry about unless you teach you child about the christian religion. According to the rapture everyone that wasn't aware of christianity, such as jews and even some atheists, have nothing to worry about, as long as they weren't taught the christian religion and denied it. Everyone that denies the christian religion will stay on earth and live through damnation, everyone that wasnt aware or didnt deny it will magically float away into heaven and be saved.
So basically, as long as you dont teach your children the christian religion, they will be fine.

Yes, each of my children and grandchildren will have the right to reject a life of eternal glory if they so choose. Hopefully we are raising them in a way that will assist them in making good decisions in life, especially with regard to the ultimate decision we all must make, where we will spend eternity. If they are not born, they will never have the opportunity to possess the ultimate human experience, eternal salvation, and a perfect life forever. I wouldn't deny any of them the opportunity to receive that tremendous gift just because of the theoretical possibility that one of them might foolishly refuse it.

The bible says train up a child the way he should go for when he is old he shall not depart from it.As a parent your child is your responsibility,if you believed in Jesus that He died for your sins and accept Him in your heart as your Lord and your Savior you are definitely sure that you would go to heaven then when your child grows up it is your responsibility to tell him also the truth.Try to read John 3:16 in the bible.
