No war is necessary.

Grace is a gift of God, it cannot be earned. The Law was given to convince people that they are sinner's, and to show that Jesus was the only one who could perform it. He was resurrected after the Law died with Him, and so we are to be resurrected for claiming His sacrifice.

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit for those who live in the world. One of the things the Holy Spirit is to do is bring us to know Jesus because He is no longer here on Earth. Through that Holy Spirit, He guides us to righteousness and knowledge. He makes us different. It is through Him that we learn from God on how to do things.

So the Law has been fulfilled by Jesus, and the Holy Spirit keeps us safe from the curse of the Law. There is no war between Grace and the Law of Moses.
