I met a woman over the internet last week. We've talked on messenger a couple of times and yesterday we exchanged photos and the reaction was ok. Anyhow I feel insecure because I am shy and feel like she's way prettier than me. She's the kind of girl that can be suitable for me and I know that I must go for her, but at the same time I have fear to be rejected. The thing is I can't hide my feelings, but I am conscious that right now we are on the first steps and I don't want to go too fast or make myself false illusions. Any advice?

Dont feel insecure and dont compare yourself to her. Just relaxe and take things slowly. You dont have to hide your feelings but you dont have to release it all at once either. That can be overwhelming in such a short amount of time. Just let things flow get to know her more so you can see how she responds to different things so you will get a better feeling of when you should say something. If you really think about it you have known her for a week so if she rejects you as you call it whats the big deal. Do you know how many more people there are on the internet to talk to? Just dont worry about it because worrying doesnt help anything.

My advice would be that if you feel she is so right for you, and you feel that you should definitly persue it then just start out being honest and open. Tell her that you are insecure about certain things, even explain why if you feel comfortable. If you persue things and it doesn't work out because of your 'inferior' looks, then there was nothing you could've done in the first place so you'll not lose anything by being honest about it.
Also, I'd imagine the most accurate way of determining whether she thinks you are 'good enough' for her appearance wise, is whether after seeing your photo, she wants to make a go of things too.

She likes talking to you, she now knows what you look like. If she's still talking to you you're past the first steps. She is into you and you need to just relax, have fun and give it time. If you don't try to do something because you fear rejection, then you end up with the exact same result... you get nothing. Don't be afraid to try!

DONT be in a hurry! DO not put the cart before the horse! One thing at a time! Exchange likes and interests. Talks on any topic non the face of the earth that will both interest, you two! PLEASE dont scare her away! Remember that she does NOT know you! Make yourself known positively and constructively!

Probably its that you don't become friends or get involved.
You didn't even know her a week ago so what would you really have lost?
Be honest and if it works great if not check it up to experience and move on.

I don't understand why do guys always fear being "rejected" or something, but that is totally wrong.. Girls don't care that much of looks. Humor and self-esteem works better, so try to be funny and different lol :)

youre doin fine just take it at youre own pace but try too keep her intrested .and about the rejestion we all crash and burn but u just got 2 try again. and if u dont try youll keep wonering whaty could have been.good luck man
