Domestic Violence will get you kicked out of the Army fast so there is no way you'll get into the army with a conviction. If you are now only being charged then you will have to wait for the outcome.

It is called an expungement or sealing the records and the army still may be able to get the record. Where I live, even certain records that are expunged or sealed are available to prosecutors if another crime is committed, to any law enforcement agency and to any places that care for the elderly or the disabled. No one here is going to be able to answer that question for you besides a lawyer in your own state. Even juvenile records can be inspected by military recruiters. Like I said, consult a lawyer who knows the laws of your state. You may be able to get your record sealed or expunged but then the next question is, who can still get to it? The military might.

to be honest: doubtful. Domestic Violence is seldom granted a waiver.
try the National Guard, however. they seem to be granting more waivers than anyone right now, and the chance is there to go Active Army after a couple of years.

No there is no sealing it no expunging it. if you were convicted of a family violence offense you are not allowed to carry or posses a weapon even in the line of duty. there is no waiver available. no options available for any military service.
