this can be found in your system up to six weeks. It depends on how fast your liver can process out the medicine. It also can leave your system within three weeks. It just depends on how well your body is functioning.

There is no way to know how long a drug will remain in someones body. Metabolism is different in each person, kidney and liver function are also different in each person. If the medication was a prescribed you have nothing to worry about. If submitting for a drug screen take the bottle with you. The person collecting will ask any medications consumed in the last 2 weeks. If you have the RX everything will be cleared much easier if they don't have to call you get the RX number then call the pharmacy. There are different forms of drug testing urine and hair. Hair samples can go back years to determine drugs taken.

It varies, but if your on it because it has been prescribed I do not think they can ask you about being on it. Check with your doctor. Also ask him about suboxone. I have herd good things and that is something better then methadone. Just another option to explore.
