For all those who don't know their history there once lived a women named Madalyn Murray O'Hair who was the founder of American Atheist. This women had very strong beliefs against God and the church. One of her famous quote was:
"There is no God. There's no heaven. There's no hell. There are no angels. When you die, you go in the ground, the worms eat you." This women is responsible for not allowing prayers in the school system.
Madalyn Murray O'Hair and her family was later killed by a fellow atheist that once worked for her. She and her family had been tortured and bodies dumped like trash.
Do you believe that this was the raft of God for her many years of atheist or just being in a bad situation?
What is your a personal reflection about people who mocked God?

She did not even know God, and he did not know her,evil come,s from satan,I wonder if she would say there is no Hell now.

i've got faith it rather is an exaggeration of the actuality. and that i doubt you have ever been in a fox hollow or a dying mattress. I actual have time-honored larger males than what you assert your are which could not swim opposed to a 5 mph cuurent with an undertow. The have been the two SEALS and swam the sea- however the river have been given them the two.

Yes, it was the raft of God. He was trying to row himself away from the sinking ship of religious fundimentalism.
By your logic bad things shouldn't happen to presumably "Righteous, God fearing" people. Yet they do...all the time. If this story is true it is simply another example of human beings being all too human. That situation would have nothing to do with god's "wrath".

And prayer IS ALLOWED in public schools?
Oh, yes, you're right! An American student has the same 'right' to private, secret, silent prayer AS ANY PRISONER IN THE SOVIET GULAG!!!! Some 'land of the free!'

If you believe god punished her for being an outspoken atheist then you have just confirmed the fact that your religion is hateful and cruel. I would *never* follow anything so evil-and the glee I see on here from so called christians about atheists dying and going to go burn in hell makes me feel ill. You wonder why we think you are hypocritical.

Oh, BTW, it seems that if God really had wanted her out of the way it would have been a lot better to have done it before she became politically and socially active.

No, what it was was a man who was angry for being found out as a fraud, and took revenge. If you think your god had a hand in it, all the more reason not to follow him.
