for forty years i have had severe back pain i am now 65 years of age and i have been seen by an orhtopaedic consultant who has informed me that nothing else can be done other than constant painkillers are there any other answers help please

I believe you can be helped by a chiropractor. I've seen so many marvelous things done by chiropractors. I'm enclosing a link where you can find a chiropractor in your area. Never give up.

See a chiropractor. Many people have bulging discs and have no symptoms. You may not be cured, but you may find some pain relief.

I am in the same fix. I have had some surgery but it is never permanent, I am on Morphine now and don't know what comes next.

a chiropractor could definitely help, i dislocated discs in my back and he healed it within a week. they do great things, atleast give it a try

Forget the Orthopedic person, go see a Neurosurgeon, NOW!!!!!!!
