Military???

My mistake. I guess I wasn't paying attention when I posted the question. That would be something though, $50,000 to go into the military. I'm sure a draft would happen before we get to that point.

Give some to our church
Put $10,000 in each of our daughter's college funds
Spend $5,000 on a cruise for our 20th anniversary, provided he's not deployed
Put the rest away for retirement so he can start his woodworking business

Well, it is in the military section. So I'd assume it's a re-enlistment bonus.

What we did with ours was take $5000 to buy something big for the house and split up a bit of spending money. The rest went into retirement funds. But having that go into the retirement funds freed up about $1000 that went to charitable donations.

Now if we had any debt left we'd have paid that first then taken a lesser amount for the house bling and still invested the rest.

First of all, i would thank God for his grace and mercy. Then I would paid off all of my bills and then, let me first say that 10% goes to God and then everthing else for my wife and I. Thanks for asking me that question.
