i think the way to get past this is to turn from those things that cause you to sin... you have to seek God and ask him to give you strength to overcome the temptations to sin... he can and will help you thru it.. but we each have to decide to follow Him and not sin anymore

God forgives 77 x 7 times. That's how merciful He is. However, committing the same sin over and over is not excusable and God cannot forgive that. You know it's not right yet, you do it again and again. Maybe God is merciful but I don't think He can be too merciful for someone who is aware of doing the wrong things. You are right, you are only human and therefore, imperfect. Well, God accepts and knows our flaws and limitations but when you know that doing something that is against His law is bad, do you think God will accept whatever explanation you have for Him? I guess not. I know how it feels to be shameful, I feel that way, too whenever I did wrong. The only thing we imperfect humans can do is pray for God's guidance that we may be strong against temptations.

God will forgive us when we are sorry and ask forgiveness....even when we have done the same thing before. He does want us to learn to do better and promises to help us. Don't give up because that is what the devil would like you to do. He puts thoughts in your head...like "Do you REALLY think God will forgive you AGAIN??" All of us have had to ask for forgiveness many times. You are not the only one. God knows your heart and He is your only judge. He wants you in heaven. He will forgive you. 1 John 1:9

God is always ready to forgive, but when you mature in your faith you will eventually change your thinking and stop doing the wrong thing. If you feel so ashamed then maybe it's time to wake up. The bad things you do are harming yourself and God wants you to realise this. He made the spiritual laws so that by following them you will live a long, healthy and happy life.

Yes God forgives again and again. What God begins in you He is more than able to finish. Daily He will remove your sins one by one. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things and He convicts us of our sins. You are being purified and refined. Be very thankful, because God loves you. If He cares enough to discipline you then you belong to Him. He disciplines those He loves; just like any good Father would do. Be blessed!

You are a great person, don't ever think you aren't. What you asked came from your heart, and if I can see that, I am sure God already knows. Just keep on trying to live a better life, keep on trying to be the best person you can be. We all have made mistakes, but without them, we would never learn. God know that, and He is here to forgive and help you....
Much love to you

The God described in the New Testament will. However, you have the responsibility to endlessly forgive those who sin against you. Can you do that? I hope so. So many who thump their chests professing Christianity fall so very short on that part of the Lord's Prayer.

You do bad things because you are an evolved animal, not because you were born to sin. People say God will forgive you if you ask, but I believe this is just an excuse to do wrong. Why didn't you think about who you were hurting when you did wrong, instead of wondering if God would forgive you? Such nonsense! All this pie-in-the-sky Heaven and afterlife Paradise talk. We have to take care of each other HERE and NOW.

God always forgives if your are sincere and repentant and he knows your weakness and takes it into account, trust always in the mercy of Jesus.
The demon wants you to distrust the Mercy of God so that you don't turn to Him for forgiveness and reconciliation.
To be a Christian is to begin again and again and never give up. It's a continual struggle and not a choice made only once but every day.
You are in my prayers.

you experience what you probably did is incorrect. Christ forgave you. As Jesus reported to the female on the properly, bypass and sin not extra. end beating your self up approximately it. end obsessing approximately it and picture of different issues. i do no longer understand in case you already realize it or no longer yet by continuously holding it interior the vanguard of your recommendations, you have submit a wall between you and God. it is holding you from serving him the type you should. Are you slacking off on your bible learn or prayers by using fact of it? Is it affecting your interplay with others? Guilt keeps you from completely trusting in God to shop you. The Holy Spirit gently brings us returned as quickly as we cut back to rubble. he will say issues like, it incredibly is probable no longer the best factor of do. you should make it impressive. What are the recommendations working by way of your recommendations? Are they: i'm no reliable, God can never love me, i've got blown it too plenty to be saved, i'm a rotten individual? those recommendations are no longer yours and that they are never God's. God never accuses us. So the place are they coming from? Rev 12:10 devil is the accuser of the brethren in the previous the throne of God night and day. devil needs you to resign and end serving God. So how do you end that accusing voice? examine or quote Scripture approximately how God forgives and we exchange into new persons. in case you won't be in a position to remember it say, "The Bible says that we ...." and state the assumption. persist with the example of Jesus in Matthew 4 while he became tempted by the devil. thrice he quoted Scripture and shot the devil down. The final time he advised the devil to go away. Stand on your authority as a Christian and tell him to wander off in Jesus call. you will locate that those adverse recommendations will go away you.
