And if you say no that God granted him the foresight or wisdom to do it, is it only because the bible says so?
Why do you say that psychics are evil? When foretelling the future was glorified in the bible when Joseph listened to God?
Who is to judge that Psychics of today dont listen to that same voice?

Unfortunately for the psychics, they didn't live thousands of years ago and jump on the Christian bandwagon.

Come on, there is a great big difference between a Prophet of God and a psychic! Joseph gave the glory and the credit to God. Psychics often take all the attention and do it for money and claim it is their personal power.
By the way, I was personally thinking of Joseph who was sold into Egypt. But either way, the Josephs were listening to God not claiming psychic power.

That's because God gave Joseph a dream. It wasn't fortune telling! It was an explanation to the dream the pharaoh had. And God used Joseph as an instrument. It just means that Joseph was filled with the Holy Spirit and therefore was better than the pharaoh's magicians, wizards and wise men.

Joseph had a gift given by God and used for Gods glory. Most psychics today are in it for money and most are frauds.
Its not having a gift that makes anyone evil. It's what they do with that gift.

Most psychics of today don't even claim to hear a
voice from heaven. I haven't seen one yet that had
a very good track record from their predictions. I couldn't
trust what they say. As for Joseph of the Bible, we
here on earth don't decide or know who goes to hell
and who doesn't. The Creator and Savior only
decides those things. Remember that and quit asking
such questions.

Then why don't they call themselves prophets of God instead of Psychics. The demonic can give answers also.

Great question. I undertsand taht you are pointing ou the inconsitency in Judeo-Christian dogma here, and I wonder about this myself, but just to play devil's advocate---wasn't Joseph active before the injunctions against divination were handed down to Israel?
