Have you considered working for an American doctor in his office as a Physician's Assistant? You can work under his license while you are waiting for clearance. You might also consider some clinics like Kelsey-Siebold or Humana, which use medically trained adjusters and interviewers who do not have to be licensed physicians. One other possibility I could think of would be working for an attorney or an insurance company, researching medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Welcome to the USA!

My current job is a parts sales rep. My dream job is exotic car transport. I plan on retiring when retirement is actually possible- as it is impossible as long as I am living in NY state. Same for everyone living there as the cost of living is EXTREMELY high!!!

Check with area hospitals/clinics where you are moving... some will allow you to work on a provisional license until you take your exam.

I would recommend that you work for a university, or a university hospital, that way they can pay for your education, revalidation, certification costs.
