I met him at college and I have been in love with him ever since and he knows how I feel as I have told him. The problems is that he doesnt want to get into a relationship as he doesnt like the fact of being teid down to one person. I am disabled also and he doesnt mind that but the thing is I want to be with him every time I hear from him. I have never loved anyone as much in my whole life and feel as if my heart is being torn out off my chest when I cant be with him. I dont know what to do?

you know i ' in the same situation right now. my haunting him made everything even worse. if you want to be with him, you can try to persuade him you don't want to have serious relationship. let him think so. he'll come down. take everything easier.

Move into/join a new circle of friends where you can meet new people and see less of your old partner. Keep active by doing something in your free time instead of brooding alone. Take-up a hobby or sport and do it regularly. Give it a year and you will be fine.

Wow girl - I'm in the same situation too! I tend to drink my way through it - which by the way I don't advise. My advice is to break all contact with him - tell him that it hurts you too much to be his friend. The less contact you have the better, then you will start thinking of him less & less.. and eventually you'll forget him. Spend time with friends (real friends) who you can whine to constantly with out them getting annoyed. i promise you the pain eventually goes away...
