is paracetamol banned giving parenterally ?

Is there any harm in giving paracetamol parentarally ?
If it can be given parenterally, is there any advantage of giving the medicine parenterally rather than orally or rectally ?

parenterally Means: Taken into the body or administered in a manner other than through the digestive tract, as by intravenous or intramuscular injection.

if this comes in injectable form it would get into the bodys' system very quickly. I prefer injections over tablets because of the rapid action.
