Seriously why things like the Biblicle flood happen in nasty ways, why does he not simply think : They no longer exists and they are gone, problem solved?

He could do that,

But where's the fun in it?

Read the O.T. This god is vindictive and cruel causing untold suffering and torture, is responsible for genocide and child rape.

He is omnipotent, but can't deal with iron chariots. Is all knowing, but repeatedly shows signs of not knowing what has happened, or lacks knowledge. (E.G. he can't tell a Jewish first born from an Egyptian, so a whole load of lambs have to die for their blood.)

There are two answers to your question:

The theological one:
The Lord moves in mysterious ways, my daughter. Now sit down and don't ask awkward questions.

The rational one:
This is totally contradictory, so the Abrahamic god(s) can not exist as described.

The redemptive value of gory floods and plagues is much more effective to the survivors. But with some imagination, all you need is a field day!

Acts 1:18
"With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; There he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out"

God created a working universe. It has revolved into what it is today. He made man in his image for his pleasure.there is good and bad but everything works together.A very complex universe. The Bible says it rains on the just and the unjust so that means that we live in aworld that has earth quakes and floods and all kinds of disasters. These things are part of the workings of our world and good and bad people are affected. When a disaster happens hopefully those who are in it and die are ready to meet God,for those who aren`t ready then they are lost.In the Bible where it talks of certain pestilence and certain signs that he made happen it was to show people that he is God and that he can do anything if he so chooses.

God is not a magician, and even though he could, God works in misterious ways. It reminds of the question Why doesn´t God just send us all to heaven if that is where we are going to when we die?
We are here to live the experience of life, to try to live under God´s rules, and to try to be like him.

What fun would that be for a sadistic God? Does he ever take life without the prerequisite suffering? Even his own son had to die nailed to a cross.

They most likely didn't deserve to only vanish, as if they never existed.

People were given years to get on the ark with Noah. God doesn't want any to perish but all to come to know Him and to accept Jesus as the sacrifice for their sins.
