i read this article on a lady that conducted that "experiment". the only bad thing was that she was embarrassed socially. And she had one cavity at the end of the experiment.

Yes. I knew that. Back a few hunderd years this would have been considered very clean 6 weeks is very often to bathe. Most family would bath twice a year.

Go back even further they didnt have any type of soap or a toothbrush. It must have been a stinky time to live.

But now a days we are a "cleaner" society full of chemical filled soaps/laundery soap ect. Just making us full of toxins. Back a few hundred years no one got cancer. Think is your soap really keeping you safe from germs? Sure, you wont get sick from bacteria as much but you will probably get cancer one day if not someone in your close family will. Sad to say we over do the toxins and it should really be regulated. But if you think of it since we live longer we need to have something to kill off the population so that we dont over populate to fast and since the public is blind to this problem of mass posion it makes it easy for the government to let it go.. I fear the worst for the future. But thank god I am going to get cancer before earth turns to a nuculear waste dump.

As for the harmful if untreated cavity why did she get that? she probably ate cotton candy while drinking soda. All unnatural stuff. If you eat a natural diet you would be fine!!!!

Hmmmm. There are a lot of variables involved that could affect the results of this experiment if conducted by someone else. Does not bathing include not cleaning ones zones of dietary elimination? Toilet paper is not totally efficient when used to clean ones perineal areas. Especially a guys rectal area because they usually have a lot of hair in their gluteal cleavage. Boy, I hope I am not gifted with the occasion to have this person stand or sit next to me on a bus.

I can't decide. I have actually gone a week without brushing my teeth because our water was off and it was really horrible. But I can't even last two days without taking a bath, so that would be pretty bad too.

So if she got a cavity then obviously there was a harmful effect, right? Cavities can lead to serious infection if untreated.

Bathing and brushing your teeth aren't that difficult, so I see no need in abstaining from good hygiene on a daily basis. Besides, I wouldn't want to sit next to her. Good luck. 2D
