Ivy dry and benadryl will really help, also try to stay in a cool place, the heat will make it itchier.

Although I'm not allergic to poison ivy I gave a friend a homeopathic remedy for a bad case & she cleared up overnight. The remedy is called Rhus Tox & is available at any health food store or natural section of your grocery. It's worth a try.

You can go to a doctor who might be willing to give you an injection of a steroid. This will help speed up the healing process. I doubt the rash will go away in a day, though.
