Every time I read something rude online, or hear something it REALLY gets to me. I mean REALLY. It keeps repeating in my head for days, I don't know what to do.

that's not about maturity really . . . well, learning what's really important in life comes with age and life experience, which usually correlates with maturation, and knowing what's important in life makes it easier to let little things go
but for something to go through your mind constantly for days sounds like you may have obsessive-compulsive disorder . . . if it starts negatively affecting your life, i would suggest going to see a psychologist and have them diagnose you so you can get better and focus on the important things in your life
it does seem like you are a good person though, for something rude to bother you that much . . . a lot of young people don't care about anything except the things that directly affect them . . . so you're already more mature than a lot of people

It seems that you are reliving a past event that upset you to the point that anything similar is upsetting to you.
Instead of letting it get to you, try repeating this every time you feel upset:
I do not take that person home
I do not feed that person
I do not have to sleep with that person
I do not care what that person thinks about anything...
Opinions are like a** holes, almost everyone has one, but it is not polite to show it to everyone.

Well, I have the same problem, but I've learned to deal with it. It is something in your subconcious that wants you to remember that. If it makes you feel better, block the person that is saying that, or kindly report them. If you are feeling even more angy, just step away from the computer. Its the only thing that'll help.

hey, ive had that kind of feeling once! it really bugged me when ppl were rude to me online. but i gave them back immediately, so it didnt bother me much let alone for days.
try focusing on the positive side may help.
for e.g. when ur driving, if u choose to believe u'd be seeing alot of blue cars, u will. but in actual fact, it may not be true.

what?? is no unusual what happen to u i think a lots of people feels the same way I'm gonna share something with all of you is silly
one time i was in a chat room and it was this stupid guy he said a lot o sh,... and i tell him to stop well to make short he toll me he was gonna kill me and a lot of other things and i fell so bad i was nervous and bad well that words that he wrote where in my head for days and now i just laugh because he can go Thur the modem or the cable so see every body has been in that situation some time

you have a lot of heart, and things like that just bother you...you should become an attorney and start fighting for the rights of others...but don't get involved with freaks on line,...you will get the usual retalitory comments, and probably virus's., like I have gotten, for trying to defend people...the good outweigh the bad, I have found..so ignore them and move one

Don't let it get to you. Its just a comment. People have their opinions and you do to. Why have it keep repeating in your head. You can't do nothing about what they said.

A lot of ppl out there do what I do and say "mean" sounding things things thinking everyone knows it's just a joke. I just answered a question saying words like "duh!!" and "are stupid boy?" just playing, I don't really mean it, I;m being sarcastic. I'm joking, don't take things so personal.
