Depends wat make and model your car is, Say it is a holden, you take it to your local holden dealership and tell them you need to know your stereo pin number, and they should plug in a little computer thing which should bring up the code. I only know because i had to do the same and thats wat i did and they did.
So i hope that helps you

You have to go the the car dealer, they look up the code from the numbers on the radio and can reset it for you.

No need to go to the dealership, probably rob you blind anyway.Look in your local yellow pages for car audio installers.Take the radio to him and he will generate a new code for you via PC.That's what i did when i forgot my car radio code.Or if you have a PC you can get the software yourself via the net.I am not a liberty to tell you where from though,i will get my wrist slapped if i do.Just sit and think, where do people download from?Good luck.

Only the dealer service department can reset the code if you do not know it.

Some online companies like this one http://www.radio-code.com/?OVRAW=radio-code&OVKEY=radio%20code&OVMTC=standard&OVADID=839753521&OVKWID=7086818521 offer access to your radio code for a small fee. Otherwise, go back to the dealer service dept and they can get it for you.
