I'm 16.When I was 12,I was raped by a criminal (police caught him) and I got pregnant.My parents are totally against abortion and I had to carry the pregnancy.I was 13 when I delivered - triplets - 2 boys and a girl (in my kin twins and triplets are really common - both my parents have twins and I'm a triplet myself,even though my sister and brother died at the delivery).Months ago I was at a party and got drunk,I had unprotected sex and got pregnant.I wanted an abortion but my parents didn't allow me.Now I'm in 6th month.The doctor said it's one child.Now my parents are mad at me because I'm not expecting twins or triplets but a one child.That isn't fair in my opinion.What can I tell them?What should I do?They don't support me at all because it's only one child.

WHAT?????? They are mad because your not having triplets? I DON'T THINK SO. If I had been raped at 12, I doubt I'd be having sex for quite some time, like a decade. This is to much for me to swallow

Seriously-you are having your fourth child at sixteen? In the case of rape you have my utmost sympathy-I'm not sure as a mom of triplets how you were at a party where hookin' up was on the menu? Possibly you gave your kids up for adoption and are doing the same this time? Maybe your parents don't want to send you a message that its ok to just keep having kids at your age. Abortion isn't a form of birth control either. sex is an adult decision and to participate in it you need to take adult action like protecting yourself and PREVENTING pregnancy-not just dealing with it.

You should have known that they cannot force you not to have an abortion, just like they can't legally force you to have one.It's your body. Speaking of that, you need to take better care of your body- ever heard of birth control?
I think you're making this up- no parent would be glad that their kid has 4 kids by the time they are 17, and I can't see a parent being cruel enough to force a child to carry a pregnancy that was caused by rape. If you're not making it up, then please try to emancipate yourself before it's too late.

I think they should be upset with the fact your a teenager having a child period.
I think they need mental help if they are just upset that your not having more then one.
They dont support you???? who is paying for your medical bills, food, clothing, housing, transpertation to dr ect????

If you kept the triplets ............... how did you have time to get pregnant ...................? you must not be the one that is taking care of the babies. Being raped was not your fault, being the whore of the party is...... Why are you at parties if you have babies..... grow up and take care of the babies you have. SEX at a party, and unprotected sex with someone your not involved with seriously( marriage) is stupid and you knew WHAT IT CAUSED !!!!!

I agree with Tammer they should be more upset that you got pregnant at 16. You have a long hard road ahead of you. Just tell them you really need them to be there and don't worry about the rest when they see their grandchild for the first time it will make them fall in love with him/her. I wish you all the best I know how hard it is.

I support you. EVERYONE needs support without judgement. You have been through a lot of trauma, probably without much counsel, for example, you lost 2 siblings AT BIRTH. That is grief.
When I was talking to a nurse in my obstetrician's office, she told me that many people abort when they only have one baby or the "wrong" sex. But you never know these things that were "conveniently" handled behind closed doors.
The main thing to always remember sweetheart is that
GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES. Even when things HURT it is for your good if you love him. That pis$es many people off who don't understand grace. But I know you understand, because you are still standing.

They don't support you now because you acted stupidly. Getting drunk at 16 is just stupid. Being raped was not your choice, getting drunk and w.horing it up WAS your choice.
