Why in the world would anyone "despise" an entire religion? Are there REALLY people here who do? I surely hope those people are not calling themselves Christians.

Make them watch The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe about 10,000 and they'd be cured of religion for good.

in the experience that your father might disown you and that must be risky to you, then do exactly your ideal. Allah will choose you on your features and intentions. only be type and strong to your mum and dad and once you have the prospect, you're able to do issues on your guy or woman and then come to Islam further and extra.

Although God made us, He gave us a free will to make our own decisions about everything in life. If we choose to be Muslim, then we abide by Muslim requirments.
If someone you love made that choice, after really deep thought, research and prayer, not out of rebellion, one would still love them and accept them.

I would love them...hate their beliefs...and if they changed way too much I'd be like "listen, you've changed...if you think it's the right choice than fine, but I can't live with you..." and then leave them...

i'm muslim (alhamdulillah) and almost all of the ppl i know r muslims,cuz i know christians only online.

i do not dispise my brothers and sisters for their beliefs. each and every person has the right to believe as they please., for we are all one with God, our Father. we each believe we are the only true religion, but they all lead to the same place. we are all right for we will all be together, all the faith-full, together before Him.
