Libraries don't work like that. Most use the Dewey decimal system,in which a variety of books are located. For example, literature is located in the 800 section.Religion is located in the 200 section.
Edit:I forgot to put in my opinion. If in this hypothetical library books were classified in that manner, the Bible should go in non-fiction.

It belongs in the religion section. Whether religion is fiction or nonfiction is a matter of opinion. So it makes sense that it would be in neither section.

Definitely Non-Fiction. Science today is unravelling many discoveries and facts that is validating what is written in the Bible. 70% of the bible is prophecy and most of it has already come to pass; we are in the latter end of the bible prophecies so people get ready!

Seeing as it's used as an primary historical text, and the people who when out of their way to prove it was untrue couldn't, I'd say non-fiction.
