I really fancy this guy at work (leaving in a month though) but don't think he likes me. We chat about music and have lent him cd's. It is hard to talk at work coz of people listening in the staff room etc.. I bumped into him in a shop where he was buying his birthday wine to drink a glass of on his OWN, he didn't ask me along, I was hoping he would ask me, so I don't think he fancies me. My friend at work let it slip that I quite like him, but he still chats to me, doesn't seem uncomfertable. He mentioned to my friend that he bumped into me in the shop, if he didn't like me, he wouldn't have been talking about me would he?? Should I do anything else or just leave it. I'm worried that if I do anything else I will look like a stalker!!! He knows I like him, have chatted and flirted loads with him, now what else to do??!!! He sometimes seems in a rush to get away from me though but in the shop we chatted for a long time. Is he just shy or not interested??

Im sorry to say that I dont think its sounding too good hun - he had the perfect opportunity to ask you to have a drink with him when you met him
He knows you like him now, so I wouldnt do anymore. Hes leaving the workplace so if he does like you he'll ask you out - if he doesnt he wont. He has nothing to lose, as hes leaving anyway and wont have to face you on a daily basis.
Id leave it go hun - the ball is very much in his court now.
xx

I would say he likes you as a friend but no more for now. Perhaps he's just really naive and it hasn't even occurred to him that you fancy him! You could always ask him out - guys don't always have to make the first move these days. But you'd need to prepare yourself mentally for a refusal, just like guys do when they ask girls out.
Otherwise, I'd let it go for now - be happy with being friends and if he does realise he wants more, he'll ask you. Whatever you do, don't fall into the "trying to make him jealous" trap to try to make him take an interest - it never, ever works.

Sweetheart, if he knows you like him, and he doesnt do anything to show her really likes you back, then dont press the issue. Even if he was shy he'd let slip to that friend that he was interested in you. Persue if you want, but dont seem overwhelming. It might push him away if he doesnt see you as more than a friend. There really isnt much more that you can do at this point. You've given him all the signs....The ball is in his court now. Good luck!

Take a chance and ask him to join you for... whatever... maybe a wine tasting (since you know he enjoys a nice glass) outside work. If he says yes, you know, if he says no, you can always try again. He may not like his private life to mix with work, so be discreet.

Why not just ask him out? Its the only way you'll know for sure. If he says no then you can move on and find someone. Other you'll always be waiting and never know. Take a chance. Good luck!

If u really like him, 'bump' into him more and see what develops from there. Or ask your friend to sound him out on your behalf. I suppose easier for him to say to 'No' to yr fren and for u to accept 'No' that way!!
