I mean, aliens in a volcano? ALIENS?? How can they believe this, that there are aliens and this Xenu guy is the ultimate alien daddy, going to come get them all one day? Don't people know, especially the rich celebrities, they are only using their ignorance to gain the millions of dollars. You have to PAY to learn more of the religion and become higher ranking. DUH! They love Tom Cruise and John Travolta, two ignorant rich guys who spend all their money on this.
P.S. And Tom Cruise has a 3 eyed alien in his mind, named Lokacia. I tried to warn Katie Holmes but she wouldn't listen, what would Dawson think? I hope Katie doesn't listen to the hype

Tactful Justin,
I was just kidding about the Lokacia alien in Tom Cruise's mind. I thought it would be a good laugh. As far as Xenu, they all believe that. :-)

Both! And thought of by one of the worst science fiction writers of all time. All religions are cults. A cult is defined as a group or organization that cultivates a belief system. Where the line has been crossed, irrationally I may add, is that some people have expressed that a cult means to be of the occult. This is not true. All religions are cults, but, not all cults are religions.

You have to bear in mind that Scientology starts fairly innocuously by comparison. If you read their starting book 'Dianetics' you'll find he starts all professorial, but moves onto odder and odder things. One of these is that the Scientologist can improve his or her life quality by 'recalling' pre-birth traumas, like being squashed in the womb while their mother was taking a crap. (This example is actually cited in the book).
Afterwards the Scientologist will be asked to accept steadily more outlandish concepts. After they have gone 'Clear' they will be expected to recall traumas from previous lives! Not that they are making it up of course. Oh no...
By the time they get as far as Xenu (and most of them can't afford to) they'll accept absolutely anything they've been told. Such is the nature of brainwashing.
Haven't heard of this Lokacia bloke until now, but it wouldn't surprise me! I'll have to find out more about that... Cheers.

People get brainwashed into it. Honestly, it happens.
Scientology exerts control over its members by means of typical cult tactics, including but not limited to controlling information about internal doctrine & criticism of the organization, severely restricting social contact outside the cult (including the practice of “disconnecting” with any family who question the credibility & trustworthiness of the cult), creating an “us against them” mentality by villainizing a specific out-group (for Scientology, it’s psychiatrists), & claiming all those outside the cult are unenlightened.

Your just doubting because you're not Clear yet. Your body-thetans are sucking out your brainal energies.
Or are you one of Xenu's agents, conspiring to subvert the Work?

it could be stupid to some people and not to others because people will believe things if it means that much to them. Any religion could be right or all of them could be incorrect.

So are you an atheist?
Or did you have a particular religion that we can compare to?
What are the basic beliefs in your holy book? :)
