Christians and Muslims, what do you think please?

shambo, you say 'we'.

If humans are such an indivisible collective, would you kill your daughter or son or wife for the sins of a priest in South America, 100 years ago?

If not why not?

Genesis makes no sense.

1. If all things come from God, then God created both good and evil.

Man could not created something that God had not done so first. Well, you say, God didn't create houses, man did. Yes, but God did create the ability to make a house, therefore effectively creating it. God says, "Look folks, here's all your options. Do what you will with it."

2. God knows everything.

Okay, problem. God creates man and woman KNOWING that they will fall. Come on, who's fault is it now? Ours, or his? If you put a kid in a room with a knife KNOWING that he will cut himself if he gets ahold of it, who's the bad guy?

And I'm not EVEN going to get into scientific evidence of the past verse Genesis. Genesis is a story. Nothing more. Yes, it sucks, but the Catholic church is to blame for throwing that one in their and calling it fact.

In closing, evil is mostly our fault. God creating evil is not a bad thing. Mostly, he just created choice. We are the ones that pick up the knife everyday and cut at those around us.

Wasn;t the apple in the tree but the pair on the ground.

Actually, the devil wanted the bring down humans because he was not happy with the fact the God would eventually send his Son to earth and the devil (when he was still an angel) wanted no part of adoring a human being--even though Christ is God. So the trick to eat fruit from the tree of knowledge scene happen and the rest is history.

Neither. The possibility for evil existed from the beginning of time. It was activated when Adam and Eve disobeyed God's command to not touch the fruit from the tree in the center of the garden. They not only touched it, but ate it. The consequences of their disobedience is that they provided an opening for evil into the world from that time forward until the end of time. For every natural law that we break there's always a consequence...

No-one "cursed" anyone with anything. We are all responsible for our own actions.

Trying to weasel out of your own responsibilities because of a flaw you can find in someone elses behavior is just sleazy.

For example having sex with a woman and then later claiming her lack of morals corrupted you is about the most juvenile response to lifes temptations as there can possibly be.

no wonder religion is so popular when it allows you to shift blame on others by claiming demonic posession and evil every time someone makes a bad life choice.

GROW a BACK BONE of your own and decide what's right and wrong before you make any more decisions that affect others

Neither of the three. God expelled Adam and Eve from his garden for disobeying his order not to touch or "eat of" the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, so that they could not know the fruit of the tree of everlasting life. He cursed Eve with childbirth pain.

Satan's lie to Eve which led to the original disobedience of God and caused separation of man from the presence of God until salvation was given through the blood of God's Son Jesus and restored fellowship with God.

I think it is man (this includes men & women) that curesed humanity with "evil" , because God is only Good & our human beans must stife to be like God. The only time evil will stop is when Love begins.

Our Christians know that God is Love. To be more like God we must Love more unconditionly.

Neither Adam, Eve, or God. Satan was the originator of evil and was able to tempt Eve into believing his lies.

Since the bible was written by males they found it useful to write that Eve cursed with evil first.
