As a rule of thumb, tou eat carbs before a workout and proteins after a workout.
Having said that, it depends on whether you're doing a cardio or weight training, or whether you're trying to lose or gain weight, or whether or not having a full stomach makes you nauseated. To be on the safe side, eat an orange 1 hour before a workout and drink a protein shake immediately after a workout. Such plan covers most of those possibilities.

Low sugar is probably a big reason why you're nauseous or lightheaded. You should of course, always be fully hydrated but if you drink juice or eat fruit within twenty minutes of ending your workout, your muscles will burn it directly. That should also take care of the lightheadedness or dizziness.

It looks good, but I would cut out the almonds and peanut butter, as they contain fat that can slow digestion and the absorbtion of nutrients. Eat them later in the day. After training, your body is like a sponge and wants nutrients QUICK. I usually have two scoops whey protein and some simple carbs like bananas or carb powder (maltodextrin, dextrose, etc.) after I train. When dieting, I skip the post-workout shake and eat a regular meal like fish and rice.

hmmm today i had a chocolate protien shake and some strawberries...
don't eat right after you work out though, wait until you stop feeling so sick. that happens to me too though. i go in the house after a run, catch my breath, drink some propel or gatorade, and then have some breakfast.
i suggest peanut butter on whole wheat toast, or cheerios and fruit, or scrambled egg whites.
♥ good luck!

You can eat well after working out - your body will burn whatever you eat like a huge furnace!!
And if you're feeling lightheaded after working out, you aren't eating enough PRIOR to working out!! Try having a banana or something first.

Are you sure you are not low on iron? That can make you lightheaded especially after a work out.
