I am the same way. I have taken so many antidepressants and antianxiety meds that just made me sleepy until I started to exercise. Exercise takes that edge off so you are don't easy to stress anymore.

People are different and some people need meds to help deal with the chemicals in there brain. There is nothing wrong with it. Though exercise is a positive either way around.. If you have to take meds then don't be ashamed of it.. The people who don't understand stress do not understand that some have it a lot worse than other and deal with it more harshly. Those people have never experienced panic attacks not saying that you are having panic attacks.

Just don't be ashamed if it gets to bad and you have to talk to your doctor. Hopefully it won't get that bad.. Honestly if you get a goal in fitness and stick with it you will see such lowering in your stress. It takes that edge off. Infact I started exercising just to be able to deal with all the stress on me. I had to get some release or I felt like i was going to go off the edge. It made me feel like a different person. I was too tired to feel stressed :) I will pray for you though and hope your stress goes away.. sincerely

By "appropriate", you mean the hard set rule? There is none, everyone has a different way to relax. One person on here would say to go read a book in a hammock, and another one will tell you to smoke a bowl and enjoy the ride. Just read all of the answers given, and see what will appeal to you the most; if you still have a hard time deciding, then write out a pros and cons list of each idea and THEN decide.

It's hard to find 'the answer' isn't it?
I go through alot of the same too, worry and really, really stress over alot of things(combined with depression), and the other day I read about a technique(don't ya hate them?) where whenever you get stressed out, you mentally think of fruits or vegetable names and picture the fruit, etc in your mind and do that over and over to occupy your mind and your stress levels apparently start to recede.
I tried it and it actually worked, but can't say that this is the cure because it may only work once if not at all, so it's worth trying out a few things.

Stress can arise for a variety of reasons. Any change in our lives can be stressful. In dealing with stress, the lifestyle needs a complete overhaul. Each person relieves stress their own way, my suggestion for you is to try them out and see what makes you relax. Methods of relieving stress vary from person, you can try: Riding roller coasters, Meditation, Drawing, Talking a walk, Yoga, Taking a drive, ect.

Taking drugs ("medications") will only disrupt your mind and body. Sure, stress might be gone, but it is only short term. People have to learn to relieve themselves naturally, at their own pace. I hope you acheive this.

1st thing dont think too much & whenever u feel stress at dat time u listen songs which u like & do timepass with ur frndz & family members..........try to avoid all type of stress thoughts
