Humans are not here to help us birth babies. But they are here to help make this hell of a life go easier.

More to the point, who did Cain and Abel marry other than their own sisters or their mother? Seeing as Adam and Eve were the first people, this means we're all inbred.

Hence why I don't believe the Bible in a literal sense - I think its there to teach lessons, not be literal. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't see it that way.

Typical white women has to have help with the simplest of things. My grandmothers just step off the trail squatted, gave birth, slung the babe over her shoulder and then went back to work.
I have been included in enough births to know it's the baby that is traumatized not the Mom. She forgets soon after wards.

Yes indeed; and where was the hot water, basins, towels and episiotomy scissors, catgut for stitching up afterwards, etc. Makes you real with wonder.

Small detail!!! What makes you think she needed one. Adam was available !!! And he did see her naked !!! It might have been his proper job !!! I am sure he would have seen animals give birth or maybe it was OJT [on the job training] !!!
