it is funny. it's just a guy thing, i guess. we're really sorry for laughing though. you got to admit, that sometimes you girls do some pretty funny stuff when your mad.

Because when you get mad, they revert to being three years old for an instant, and their mother is yelling at them for whatever, and they need to laugh to release that buildup of nervous tension, so they laugh.
And then you ask them why they are laughing when you are mad, they have no idea but feel further psychically overwhelmed by feeling three years old AND being questioned by an angry woman, and they say the first thing that comes into their head to redress the psychic imbalance. Because if there is one thing a guy hates, it's feeling powerless. You can use this feeling of powerless to your advantage, of course, but he will hate you for it.

It's a form of defense mechanism that guys do to hide their true feelings about a subject matter.
If a girl is mad, we tend laugh to block our emotion.
We are just good at pretending and hiding :D

Sometimes I like them laughing, it makes me forget why I was mad and I love that he can make me laugh when I'm so freakin mad
