exercise more. running and swimming will change your 'fat' (if thats what you have. a lot of people are just overly self-conscious) into muscle.
pills that help you lose weight are harming your health, regardless. go the natural way if you can with exercise & better diet.
if you seriously, desperately need to lose weight (we're the same age and trust me- unless youre obese you dont need to) then follow the instructions on whatever pill you do choose (there are hundreds) to the letter.
one of my friends was 5'4" and stuck on the idea that she was fat. she got down to 70lbs (and still thought she was fat). she was unhealthily skinny. dont do that to yourself.

Forgo all pills. The only to safely lose weight and keep it off is exercise and a healthy diet.Self Discipline is your best bet. There are no easy fixes and you have your health to consider. Get a physical and be sure you are in good enough health for exercise and then find something that is fun for you.
