Photos: I have 1500 photos on disc. Picassa I can see them all. My Pictures see only some. Why? See more?

I have difficulty finding photos on My Pictures. How can I see them all at My Pictures? Why is Picassa better than My Pictures for seeing photos that are on the hard drive?

Picasa can view more file types than My Pictures (which is Windows Explorer).

Picasa can view tif, jpg, gif, png, psd, and many camera RAW formats. Windows Explorer (My Pictures) can not do as many.

Use Picasa.

Are all the photos jpgs or other format that your picture reader will view. Nothing in RAW??
