Hi.
I am planning a trip to the States around the next of next year. I am 20 years old, will be 21 in June '09. I wanted to get a temporary work visa so that I could work in bars and such along my travels.
Would I need to apply for a green card, or is there a temp work agreement that could be sorted out? I am Australian.

Thanks.

You need an H2B visa. "Applicants for temporary work visas should generally apply at the American Embassy or Consulate with jurisdiction over their place of permanent residence." More details: http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1271.html
