I really (really really) like chocolate....
I'd love to stop, but each time i say something (defending religious guys, defending atheists) i get nasty emails and thumbs down.

I don't worship the supernatural and I find that a great weight off my (tiny) mind. To worship chocolate would cause me more weight and therefore I reject your faith in chocolate. Everyone must worship lettuce or be damned to a life of comfort and happiness- we are now at war

Too easy and far too logical for people who really do imagine there's an old man in the sky who talks to them each, individually.
As you know there's no way you can make chocolate talk - I mean the thought of chocolate talking is as silly as ... as ... saying there’s an invisible sky thingy what talks to everyone, individually with things like: Suck up to me or you'll go to hell.
I mean, the thought of chocolate talking is just ludicrous.

While I agree Chocolate should be declared it's own food group.. I don't see the world's peoples backing the decision the hurts, miscommunications and hate run far too deeply for people to let them go easily..
While chocolate would make a good band-aid it would ultimately only be a band-aid not a cure...

Humans are violent compared to other species. If it were not religion, it would be race, eye color, or some equally arbitrary trait. It is quite sad that so many people have died over different interpretations of an invisible man. If you look past the god factor, most wars are related to power and control of resources.
So I don't think it would help.
Plus nobody gets dibs on my chocolate. Sorry. :-)

There would be a war between Dark and Milk chocolate factions.
The Dark chocolate followers themselves would break into 10 sides, each following a different % of cocoa in the chocolate.

that would create a conformist world in which everyone acts and thinks the same. let's not all hail to chocolate. some of us could find peace in the teaching of the Sacred Strawberry or the Raspberry Vinaigrette. diversity is important!
