I love Thumbelina! You're going to need a nick name for her, since the name is so long [has four syllables]. I'm not crazy about Thumb. Maybe, you use Belina, Bell, or Lina.

Wait until you have her, then see if something pops into your head. Remember that the dog will carry that name on all your paperwork at the vet, local registration and/or licensing, etc. One idea I like is to use your favorite name. What would you name a daughter, for instance? Avoid the really cutesie names, too. The novelty wears off and then you're stuck with "Boopsy-coo" or something equally weird for a long time!

i really like thumbelina but having a dog name that long isn't suggested. maybe a shorter name...i really like the name Lila

Female huh?How about Mitzi,Belle,Winnie,Penny(if shes red) or Thumbelina is good.If you knew that name as you looked at her,it probably is her name.Hope these help.
