Who told you He hated sex? That's just nonsense. There is a bond between a a husband and a wife (man and woman) that is good in the eyes of God. It is actually a gift from God for a man and a woman to share such a spiritual connection in a physically pleasing way that is acceptable to the Lord. It is sexual perversion like homosexuality and fornication (sex before marriage) and sex with animals and sex with children, and all other perverted sex that God hates. It is the opposite of what He created for us. So no He does not hate sex, just perverted sex.

No, He says be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. Sex is great,it is a gift from God. God created us to have sex. Don't let some stupid so called religious people tell you sex is bad, it isn't! Perversion is bad,not sex.

According to Richard Dawkins theory of memes, there were different versions of the Abrahamic God stories but the one that persisted and grew the biggest following was the version that had the most power to get people to adhere to it.

Think about it - if you want to convince people that they are inherently sinful and need to follow a God to be good, what better message than to make sex a sin? It's the strongest biological drive we have - everyone does it - everyone thinks about doing it when they aren't doing it. If this irresistable drive is made a sin, then everybody is constantly reminded that they are sinners and thus they go and pray for deliverance.

If God hates sex so much, why isn't that fact taught in the Bible, the Church Fathers, the Ecumenical Councils, or among Christians?

Ever heard of song of solomon? It's a total love story.

Song of Solomon 1:4 Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Song of Solomon 1:13 A bundle of myrrh [is] my wellbeloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts. 14 My beloved [is] unto me [as] a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of Engedi. 15 Behold, thou [art] fair, my love; behold, thou [art] fair; thou [hast] doves' eyes. 16 Behold, thou [art] fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed [is] green.

God doesn't hate sex, but he hates sexual sin. I don't blame him.

EDIT: The bible doesn't say sex is only for procreation though I believe the catholic church promotes that idea.

There's nothing wrong with sex; it's just the uptight farts who view it as immoral when, if their parents hadn't had sex in the first place, ...... the farts wouldn't be all creeped out by it and say God hates sex! LOL

The answer, of course, is that God does not hate sex. He prohibits only extramarital sex. Sex within marriage is, according to scripture, not sinful.
