open your bible and start reading a bit each day.... set aside like, 5 minutes, to start with and just talk to Him
call your youth pastor and see what is going on with youth group... and ask him/her to pray for you while you reconnect with God...
seek God, he hasnt moved away from your relationship.... he is waiting for you to turn back to Him!
God bless!

ones you know God and ones your his child you will always be. You will always have a relationship with him no matter what all you have to do is talk to him and he will direct your path. he will guide you and help you through. Another thing you can do is play worship music and praise him for every thing he has done and every thing he's doing in your life. Praise him at all times go into your prayer closet and let it go all he's waiting on is you. Read your bible try to make it to church the more you spend alone time with God you will feel his presence. He's a loving God and you can always turn to him at what ever hr. of the day he's there. He loves you and knows your heart and he knows just what you are asking and will fulfill the desires of your heart. God wants us to spend time with him just alone and mainly through worship That's how I do it. You already have a relationship with him all you two want is more of each other.
God bless.

hi there dear.. it's very important to have god on your mind all the time, throughout all the seasons..
i can understand how it is during summer with all the distractions caused by the beach and trying to have fun and get a tan :)
but you know what.. for me as muslim i have to pray 5 times a day that's to always go back to god and always keep him on my mind, so what I'm saying is that you can do the same thing by at least praying once a day.
or another thing when you look at the beauty of the sea or the sun set you should always remember that this is the creation of god, so that way you'll always remember god through his creations all around you.
by the way for those who don't know, both Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

Hi Asker,
How are you today? I hope everything is well with you and your family.
I am happy and glad to hear that you have a desire to be close to God because that what is God wants us all to do.
The best thing for us to do to stay close to Him is to read The Bible and pray. Talk to Him like he is right there beside you. I believe he hears every prayer we say because he is omnipresent. It means that He can be everywhere in one time.
Staying close to God is the most important thing to do because as long as we are close to Him everything wil be all right for he is there to deffend us,protect us, guide us and give us wisdom. It is such a wonderful experience to have such a God who loves us and care for us . He is very interested in our lives . He wants to be involve in our disicions.
I try to read my bible every morning and I sing praises and hyms when I do my work or when ever I feel impress to sing. It is uplifting to me.
Don't forget to memorize some important text from the Bible. This is a good way to think about Him.
Thank you for reading, take care and God Bless!
Sincerely, Arcelie

I'm not sure what you need to know...are you just God's friend in spring, fall, and winter?? Do the summer months in some way change your religion??This question baffles me in that I can't see how you can put God aside for the summer and then pick Him/Her up again in the Fall! You must be about 14 years old because an adult would know better than to ask such a shallow, silly question!!

You need to ask a more mature christians advice. Ask them how they spend their week looking down on and despising the poor, supporting a Satanic right wing inspired Agenda, and come to church on Sunday and claim to be the people of God.
10000 "thumbs down" will not change the fact the christian religion has been Hi-jacked by intolerant right wing extremists that could care less about the teaching of Jesus.(or even Paul who was the true founder of the christian religion.) They care about the cash bottom line, and political power.
And yes I know "its not about RELIGION its about A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST JESUS" I also know that is a meaningless word play.

Lord, every season has a spiritual zing to it.
What about connecting thru nature -- that's what I always do.
Admire the changing of leaves, enjoy cool breezes and harvest

Start each day with prayer and read your Bible. If you were a knight going into battle, or a football player going into the game, you would have your Armour and protection. Reading the Bible each morning helps you put on your coat of Armour for God. Thanks for the question and have a great day!

Its all about dedication and prayer. Prayer is definitely a good place to start. We all drift away from time to time. You can't beat yourself up about it. When we mess up we just have make the commitment not to make the same mistake again.
