I called up a credit card company whose card got sent to me with my name on it, and wanted them to activate so i recorded my verbal signature over the phone to have the card activated and called costumer support who said they needed my bank account information to activate the card...I never gave them my account information and the card doesn't work, but does that mean i have an active account with them and liable for fees and such??? Or does it mean i have an inactive account if the card doesn't work and not liable for fees?? How do i contact them? They sent me the card, and it only has an activation number on it and i've been trying to find them online but can't find a costumer service number...It's with 1 First National Card.

go to www.firstnationalbank.com. Never give out your personal information to anyone you personally did not contact in the first place. Your card should have a number on the back of it for customer service-all of them do. Yours sounds a bit peculiar. I think I'd cut it up. If you go to the above address, they offer a card with no interest for 12 months. They also give you the points reward thingies and I ended up getting a $80 credit that was applied to my balance. They seem to be very nice and it's a professional set up.
