In my dream I was going to an auction. Outside were vendors booths, as I looked around I saw a beautiful small size donkey in a funky lace and leather outfit. Upon closer inspection I realised this was an actual baby donkey. I became infuriated with the owner of this animal I now held in my arms and was freeing it from this confining outfit undoing snaps and pulling out it's ears. As she was telling me a line of bull, why, I slapped her in the mouth. I immediately felt that I didn't feel right about slapping her, I really didn't mean to. She was in shock then ran up a set of stairs. I yelled option A I call SPCA or B you take my $1. This donkey is now mine. I felt I had the right, it was being abused as it was so young, it should be with it's mom, not on show at a market sale, it was actually like in a corner an un obvious spot where I found it. The situation had me so upset. I dreamed I saved a baby donkey in distress and I'd like to know what it means, if you can interpret for me?

I think your dream about the baby donkey is a good luck dream because the donkey represents us. If you help a donkey or receive one as a gift it means that things will be favorable to you in your life.
And just the opposite if you dream that you harm a donkey or that one brays in your face, or any kind of negative donkey dream means some negative thing will happen.
The owner of the donkey in the dream is probably someone in your life, but disguised in your dream as a donkey owner who because of her treatment of the donkey has brought you to stand up for its rights. If the owner in the dream is someone you know in your real life, that would mean that you are asserting your own rights and defending your own self against her manipulations.
The donkey is there as a symbol that you are on the right track and doing yourself a good turn by helping the donkey.

Donkey symbolizes your stubborness and the baby part symbolizes your stubborness to grow up. You are angry that you have to grow up and t ake on responsibility, yet the part of you that is rescuing this baby animal is already grown up and assertive, knowledgeabe and not easily pushed around. You are just dreaming about all of the aspects of who you are at this time in your life. You are both the baby donkey and you who are saving yourself. ... or should I say defending your self.

Sometimes animals represent people we know. The small donkey could represent a very stubborn child that you know who is being mistreated. And from reading the rest of your dream who abuse is being done undercover or being concealed.
