Click in your text box, go to the Insert menu ->Text File...

Choose any file with text in it.

In Word you can type =rand(5,5) and press ENTER to create five paragraphs of text with five sentences in each. Publisher 2003 does not have this feature - maybe Publisher 2007 does.

Word 2003 inserts random text of "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog". Word 2007 is more elegant and inserts some Latin gibberish.

You can create whatever text you want, save it as a file, then always insert that using the insert text file option.
