Romans chapter 3 vs 9-20 For all of us have sinned, no one is good, no not one.
Be forgiving and understanding and cautious. All of us make mistakes. If the band leader is truly repentant wants to change his/her ways, be there in support.

There are some good passages that have been posted, already, here. "For all have sinned and fallen short, of the glory of God." Romans Our God is a forgiving God.[in repentence] "For the flesh is weak, but the Spirit is strong." Focus on our Lord and Saviour. God bless.

The good news is that God wants you to pass the tests of life, so He never allows the tests you face to be greater than the grace He gives you to handle them. The Bible says, "God keeps His promise, and He will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, He will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out".

--THERE ARE degrees of sin , that many have recovered from, some of the most debased:
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) “. . .What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And YET THAT IS WHAT SOME OF YOU WERE.(my caps) But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.”
--PEOPLE CAN INDEED recover, one example is that of a person who had relations with his mother or stepmother:
(1 Corinthians 5:1) “5 Actually fornication is reported among YOU, and such fornication as is not even among the nations, that a wife a certain [man] has of [his] father.”
--YET the Corinthian congregation was counseled to extend forgiveness and not overly judge such a person!
--IT CAN INDEED be just as bad to judge someone adversly even though he or she has stopped the immoral or whatever serious act they committed//AS IT is not to make a moral stand for a serious wrong!
(2 Corinthians 2:5-11) “5 Now if anyone has caused sadness, he has saddened, not me, but all of YOU to an extent—not to be too harsh in what I say. 6 This rebuke given by the majority is sufficient for such a man, 7 so that, on the contrary now, YOU should kindly forgive and comfort [him], that somehow such a man may NOT BE SWALLOWED UP (my caps) by his being overly sad. 8 Therefore I exhort YOU to confirm YOUR love for him. 9 For to this end also I write to ascertain the proof of YOU, whether YOU are obedient in all things. 10 Anything YOU kindly forgive anyone, I do too. In fact, as for me, whatever I have kindly forgiven, if I have kindly forgiven anything, it has been for YOUR sakes in Christ’s sight; 11 that we may not be overreached by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his designs.”
--Satan would like us to be self-righteous about matters, and not make room for mercy.
He capitalizes on hypocrisy , for anyone of us can make some serious blunders.

Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
God works in "all things": ~ not just isolated incidents ~ for our good. This does not mean that all that happens to us is good. Evil is prevalent in our fallen world, but God is able to turn every circumstance around for our long-range good.
Note that God is not working to make us happy, but to fulfill his purpose.
Note also that this promise is not for everybody. It can be claimed only by those who love God and are called according to his purpose.
Those who are "called" are those the Holy Spirit convinces and enables to receive Christ. Such people have a new perspective, a new mind-set on life. They trust in God, not life's treasures; they look for their security in heaven, not on earth; they learn to accept, not resent, pain and persecution because God is with them.
