In April 2005 I bought a Desktop Computer that came with XP and a WORD 2002 disk, and over the last 2+ years I have stored up alot of important files in that program. This last April I bought a laptop with Vista, and a Belkin transfer cable. I transferred all my files to the laptop, not realising that the WORD 2002 PROGRAM itself would not transfer as well, and that yucky 2007 Word program that came installed with Vista, cannot open my files. So, I inserted the WORD 2002 disk that came with my desktop into my laptop and it installed just fine..... EXCEPT..... now I'm being asked for the product code to access te program.
The product code on my disk case is so worn that I can't even read it anymore.
ALL MY WORD FILES DELETED FROM THE DESKTOP, AND ARE NOW STORED IN THIS LAPTOP........ AND I HAVE NO WAY TO ACCESS THEM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH ANY WORD 2002 PRODUCT CODE?????
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Get your desktop computer out. Open any word file on your desktop. Go to the help at the top. At the bottom of help, it will say "about."

Click it, that will give you the registration name and the product key. It saves it for you incase you lose it, or transfer it to another computer.

There's a program called Magic Jellybean that you can download and run on the old computer. It will find the product key used on the install on that computer and you can copy it down and put it on the new one. Also, if you registered the old version, try contacting Microsoft and they may be willing to generate a new key for you.

I cannot legally give you a key code. The only thing that I can do is tell you of a free compatible word editor, found in the OpenOffice suite:

even with the baseless downranking, Magical Jellybean is a unfastened application that'll permit you detect the significant for numerous Microsoft's courses. here is the element, even with the shown fact that...you do no longer very own 2 licenses. So in case you place it on your workstation, you would be unable to run it on your computing gadget anymore.
