No, whack-a-doo fundamentalists who happen to be Muslims and who are twisting Islam for their own agendas are the threat. Just remember that whackos come in all varieties. Tim McVeigh, who was responsible for the worst act of terrorism on US soil prior to 9/11 was our own, home-grown boy, and I believe he was Christian.

Islam itself, along with more than 99% of Muslims, are no threat whatsoever. And the bad guys? I kind of wonder if they are Muslim in anything but name. I kind of suspect that Allah does not approve of their methods, so I don't know if He looks on them favorably. However, it's easier to leave the judging up to God (Allah), as He is the one with the power and the right to make the decisions at that level.

All I know is that I don't fear Islam, and I don't fear Muslims. It would be a waste of time and energy since neither is bad.

It is really more of a threat to Australians than Americans...You have a buffer zone..We have none.Let's face it it..Wars are all about turf and the 'valuables' found there..Indonesia et al need space..Australia has it..along with Uranium and vast supplies of minerals...and...Land,to accomodate a population that is expanding expotentially way ahead of the Australians that inhabit the coastlines and refuse to comprehend that inland water from the sea and treated sewerage piped to the inland with the support of wind and solar power using biodiesel fuels could help convert deserts into working spaces as per Libya and Israel etc and house people into a very rich land that could control a very viable spot from which another 'culture' could expand.It is inevitable..our PM sucks Bush's bum for one good reason..He is afraid also..This will not happen in my life-time..But if it did..I would take to the hills that I know and Represent..Pacificist or No..History will tell..As Usual Time is a Constant Waste of unfufilled ideas that will resurface When excuses are demanded...and bandied about.So it goes.

People choose to convert to Islam out of their own will, the Holy Quran has never been changed, ppl from all walks of life, rich, intelligent, educated, whites, blacks latinos, aborgines all r converting, maybe they realise the truth in this life & next.

As i convert myself & open minded i belive America is truly scared so therefore is going to wars but not succeeding, if anything America is its own threat but the suffering the consequnces on taking on the Islamic world. Peace.

First of All let me say that I am a Muslim. I am what the ignorant would call "Wahhabi". We do not use that term because Like "Mohammedan" it implies we worship either Shaikh Wahab in the case of "Wahhabi" or Prophet Muhammad,peace be upon him, in the case of "Muhammadan".The term we (some of us!) use is Salafi. We are followers of the Quran and The Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad,without innovation or Cultural Add-on's.
