We really can't know the "whys" of God. As the Hebrews understood, we can't even utter his name.

What we can know is that he loved us enough to make us "fearfully and wonderfully" (Ps 139). We know that he made us in his own image (Gen 1), which includes rationality and free will, and that he designed us to be his intimate friends forever. We know he never gave up on us, despite our rebellion. We know that he came to earth to live among us a man to show us his ways, and that he submitted to death rather than to take back a word of his teachings. We know that he makes a way for us, after all the harm we've done, to live with him in his kingdom for all eternity.

Why? I don't know, but I owe him everything.

He is love , so He actually created us because of that... so it's not that i'm here, on earth and i think there might be a God and i find myself asking does He love me? ...why?... you could say "cause He created you", but it's even deeper, cause it was actually God who stood in His majesty and decided to create us, because of that love... even humans feel this desire of showing love, by having children... in fact, the answer would be ... God IS love, so it's like saying why does God exist?... and that's kinda crazy...;))

An intelligent question Sara. I've been waiting. I knew you could. I'm so proud.
To answer though I have no idea. I haven't done anything to earn it. Maybe a little but not enough to write home about.
There are many more deserving. It's even a little embarrassing.
I sure am proud He does though.

Because I exist. God loves everyone.

God also love me because I am his adopted son through the all-sufficient sacrifice of His son, Jesus the Messiah.

Why does God love you so much?

I could never figure that one out. I didn't even like myself when Jesus saved me. He sees something in us that we can't see. Even the angels were amazed that Jesus went to the cross on our behalf.

Because we are created in His image and we are His children. He sent his only Son, Jesus, to die for us because He loved us so much. Those that accept Jesus will join him in Heaven, to be forever with God. Check out my sources if you want to know more. Thanks for the question and have a great day!

because God's elect are the objects of His love:

"For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." - Titus 3:3-7.

God's love is great ...

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) - Ephesians 2:4,5.

God's love for His elect is everlasting ...

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. - Jeremiah 31:3.

His love is sacrificial ...

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8.
