Are these jobs legitimate? All they give is a 1800 number but they say they're government jobs. Is this for real or is it fake?

100% scam. They will charge you to make you do exactly what you would do at USAJobs.gov (it might be .com). These announcements are 100% cheat scams.

Just go to http://www.usajobs.gov/. It depends on what the "1-800" job is. If it's owned by the federal goverment, then it's real. For example, 1-800-YES-JOBS or 1-800-HIGH-PAY might be fake. Try and research, or call, the specific numbers.

They are usually "training' schools who claim to teach you how to get that gov job .
They are lame , but since the call is free , call and see for yourself .

They're most likely military recruiters. It's a sneaky way of getting you to talk to them, because otherwise, most people probably wouldn't.
