Think about it. I live in the country and being a male, it is just as convenient to take a whizz outside than inside. Therefore, no electricity is used to pump water from my well to refill the toilet, which means I use no electricity peeing, which means no coal is burned to generate the electricity. If I pee outside my whole life, will it offset enough carbon for even one of Al Gore's jet trips? If all the males peed outside, think of all that carbon not placed in the air, and you get the lawn watered to boot.

You live in the country? Then your answer is a solid "Yes". Just drop the Al Gore attitude. It's tired. Yes, he's kind of a tool. We're all over it.
Anyway, yeah, If you're in the country go ahead. It will indeed reduce your environmental impact. If you're in the city, I'd suggest avoiding it unless you want to end up on a criminal sex offender list. (it's happened)
Plus, the increased concentration of people in a city would make this behavior ill advised as it could lead to public health issues. And it would be smelly...

Check out the book Humanure about safely composting your pee and your poo. You can read it online at
http://weblife.org/humanure/default.html
to read about some interesting stuff.
People around the world compost human waste, and it actually becomes some of the best fertilizer ever for your garden or farm. It is sustainable because you don't have to ship fertilizer from somewhere else, that may be producing fertilizer unsustainabley.
So pee outside sure, but better yet, compost the stuff. It is way better than flushing down a toilet. Be careful where you pee though! Did you know the average toilet uses like 30% of the total water usage in a home?

Yes Pee outside. It is good for the soil. Pee on the compost pile if you want an activator. Just don't expose yourself to the neighbours.

Actually, it would reduce your carbon footprint even more than you think. After the cops grabbed youand put you in the looney bin, you'd not be driving a car or a lot of other things--so that would REALLY cut your carbon footprint down! :)

I wouldn't advice it. It's unhygienic and honestly, I don't you use electricity to flush your bodily wastes down the drain. You simply use a mechanical contraption.
