Hello everyone. I guess, even if you are not a Christian who is in alcohol of drug recovery, you may still know which Bible I am referring to. I got a very special bible when I was in a half way house, but I think I may have accidentally left it at my parent's house when I moved, and now I want to find a copy of it again, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. This bible had personal stories of other recovering individuals throughout the books of the bible and it is also commonly used in bible study at the prisons and given to prisoners that request a bible. It is multi- colored swirls on the outside and just says Holy Bible on the cover. Please, if you know the publisher, please give me that information. Thank you so much!

This Bible is the one that is given to all prisoners that take up bible study in Minnesota Correctional Facilities. I was never in prison, but my brother was and so were some long ago "friends".
This bible just has a neat way of explaining things and the personal stories of triumph that are in this bible of people who have recovered and turned their lives to God is just truly amazing. I suppose I could call my mom and see if she can find it and ship it to me, but that would take over a week and I am really hoping to find this Bible by the end of tomorrow (Monday 8-27-07).

Although the life recovery bible sounds like an excellent one as well, it is not the one I am referring to. I may however, buy that bible instead, if I cannot get my mom to ship me the other one, or if I cannot find the one I'm referring to in the book stores.

There are several different recovery edition bibles.
Search google for "recovery bible" and find which one you saw, then buy it from Amazon or some other shop.
