I just found this website and want to know if anyone has tried them. They say that you supposedly get free 250 business cards. I am not sure the legitimacy of this company as I have never heard of them. Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/354f9z

I believe they are legit. I used this company 3 years ago for some cards for a temp business venture and they were free, except for shipping. The cards are kind of flimsy and thin though. When you place your order I would pay the extra to have them laminated (glossy) I know they offered that option when I ordered and I did not get it done so I think it would be worth the couple of dollars but otherwise everything was fine and I got my cards and no one called me or mailed me anything afterwards.

Yes, I've gotten the free cards from Vistaprint before. The only catch is that they print their advertising on the back of the cards, and you have to pay a small shipping fee. It's still a good deal!

:)

It isn't hard, at all, to make your own business cards. I did mine on Word very easily, and then took them to Kinkos to get printed and cut on pretty paper. I wouldn't trust anything "free" online..unless you applied for it/entered a contest/etc and THEN won it. Nothing unsolicited is a good idea.

Just download a template and you are good to go!

it is not unusual, but there is probably a disclaimer and hidden costs like shipping, or you have to order 500 cards to get the first 250 cards

Of course they're not for real! They just want to get your information, and probably give your computor a virus or something.

You MUST read ALL of this!!!

The website discloses: "Printing is free. Pay only for shipping and processing. Please see our Free Offer Details for more information."

You will be hit for the processing fees and the shipping. You can go to their disclosure page by clicking on the link below (2), however it does not disclose what the processing and shipping fees are. They state:

"Processing fees include the various costs associated with processing your product and your order, such as expenses and costs related to acquiring and processing your order, including costs and expenses payable to third parties for acquiring and processing of customer orders and transactions, internal processing charges incurred directly by VistaPrint, transaction fees charged by third party payment processing firms and other expenses incurred by VistaPrint with respect to customer orders. Processing does NOT include any charges for the product itself, including costs related to raw materials or manufacturing of the product."

So is it free? No, and you can buy business card blanks at your local office store and use Word or PowerPoint to create your own. Some of the packages will include a disk in case you do not have these programs. Otherwise, just order your cards from OfficeMax or OfficeDepot and save yourself money and time.
