Are you supposed to always cut the end towards your mouth or does that vary depending on the type and make of cigar? Thanks

You cut the tapered end so there is a hole to draw

You should always cut the round end of the cigar, if you do not then you will not be able to draw smoke from it. You always have to cut this end no matter the brand or make of the cigar, but only the round end. The other end is already cut and it is where you light it.

Hope my answer helped you.
